Milan, April 19, 2026 – <\/em>\u00a0Lefort S.A., a leading manufacturer of equipment for the scrap metal recycling industry, announces it has secured a favorable decision from the Court of Milan in interim proceedings regarding the protection of its intellectual property rights relating to its „TRAX“ tracked shears technology.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In its order, the Court found that there is a sufficient degree of certainty regarding both the validity of Lefort\u2019s patents and their infringement by certain shear models marketed by C&G s.r.l.(Taurus), based notably on the findings of an independent court-appointed technical expert.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As a result, the Court has ordered, on a provisional basis, that the manufacture, marketing, and sale of the concerned scrap shear models cease.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This decision was issued in the context of interim proceedings and does not prejudge the outcome of the proceedings on the merits, which remain ongoing.<\/p>\n
