Successful Independent South London Processor, Southwark Metals, recently took delivery of a new Lefort Trax 1000 shear for their state of the art Greenwich yard.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Lefort Trax is both fast and versatile and was set to work in no time on the yards stockpile. Realizing the importance of having fast and efficient machinery it was an easy decision for Southwark Metals to go for another unit for their new East London branch in Barking. The new yard opened in March 2026 and has already become a bit hit.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The new 1000T Konkeror shear will work alongside their existing Lefort 700T Trax expanding their processing capacity to over 300T per day for the Barking site. The 1000T static shear is already in production at the Lefort factory in Belgium and will be cutting scrap
\nin October this year .<\/p>\n
