Congratulations to K A Anderson (Metal Recyclers) Ltd, who recently took delivery of their new LefortTRAX 1000. They had visited the Lefort factory to view their new machine shortly before the delivery to their site near Thirsk. This is the second new Lefort shear to be purchased by K A Anderson, complementing their previous purchase of the Lefort Mobile 700, which processes material at the main yard in Ripon.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The TRAX 1000 has been supplied with numerous new features to provide help and safety with regards to the maintenance of the machine. There is a specially designed blade change platform and a safety ladder from the ground leading to a safe walkway with retractable handrails. When the handrails are erected the engine will not run and safe entry is provided to the charge box for maintenance purposes. There is also a moveable platform that allows easy access to the engine compartment. The TRAX are removable for transportation and can then be affixed to the machine at site, easily and quickly.<\/p>\n
