Ward Recycling take delivery of the first 1000T Portable Shear/Baler in UK

The very latest Lefort Portable 1000T Shear/Baler has been delivered to Ward Recycling of Ilkeston in Derbyshire. The mighty machine has been put straight to work on a Demolition site in the NE of England and is capable of processing over 200T per day. Ward Recycling have had a Lefort Mobile 600 for over 10 years now which has worked well on different projects around the country.

When they needed a larger machine for this bigger project the Lefort was the natural choice. The new Portable 1000T is a variation on the Conkeror 900 shear which has sold so successfully in the UK. Fitted with 4 hydraulic lifting legs the machine can be jacked up in the air and taken away to a new site on a step frame trailer. There are no tyres to check or lights to repair, this machine can move straight out on the road with very little preparation. The new 600 HP diesel engine now fitted as standard to this range means the 1000T cutting cylinder is just as fast as the old 900T and can achieve up to 30T per hour production with a 5ft cut. The latest software program means the machine is more efficient than ever with updated cutting modes and automatic cycles.
