A Landmark Delivery for Brookfield Metals: The First Lefort TRAX 1000 in the UK

A beautiful day in Scotland for the arrival of the first Lefort TRAX 1000 in the UK, with the New style Powerpack. The machine was delivered without TRAX, as is normal for the transportation of this heavy machine. The TRAX were fitted within a couple of hours and the machine was then ready to go to work. This machine is a significant investment for Brookfield Metals of Linlithgow and the excitement could be seen on all the employees faces as the machine arrived.

The machine has the latest power pack design, which is more user friendly enabling better access to the engine for service and topping up coolant and safe walkways on the powerpack to enable oil and diesel filling.

The TRAX 1000 is perfect for this large yard, giving the opportunities for Brookfield to work more efficiently by taking the machine to different scrap grades to process, rather than double handling scrap to the machine.

A beast of a machine, it is performing very well and taking Brookfield Metals Ltd into an exciting new chapter in their processing of Scrap Metal.
