The new Lefort 700T is a big hit with Abbey Metals

The new LEFORT KONKEROR 700 is a BIG HIT with ABBEY METAL RECYCLING Ltd.

One of the latest Lefort models, the new Konkeror 700, has been very popular for UK customers since its release in 2024. Abbey Metal Recycling Ltd of Cinderford took delivery last year of one of the static versions and it has completely changed the way they process their materials. Previously relying only on a car baler, Abbey Metals are now able to process a much wider range of materials than before and have increased profitability.

The new 700 is fitted with a heavy design precompression box of 6m length, and increased 325T closing force per side. The improved power pack design allows easier maintenance access for the latest 400 HP Scania diesel engine, a feature also now available on the larger models in the Konkeror range. The machine is also fitted with a 180T baling ram making the car bales very compact and easy to load onto transport.
